The Foundation

The Learning by Giving Foundation's partners with 43 colleges and universities across the country to teach effective giving and distribute grants. The foundation's mission is to provide a platform for students to become thoughtful and effective givers by making real dollar grants to nonprofit organizations in their local communities.

Partnership

This is JMU's second year partnering with The Learning by Giving Foundation. The first year was a success. Of all the partnerships, JMU won first place for having the best blog and as a result the class was given the opportunity to award a third $3,000 dollar grant to a local nonprofit organization.
